Mint Mobile wireless fetches $1.35 billion for Ryan Reynolds

T-Mobile has made a significant move in the wireless industry by acquiring Mint Mobile, a budget wireless provider, along with its parent company, Ka'ena Corporation, in a deal valued at up to $1.35 billion. The deal also includes the acquisition of Ultra Mobile, an international calling service, and Plum, a wireless wholesaler.

One notable figure in this deal is Ryan Reynolds, who purchased a minority ownership stake in Mint Mobile back in 2019. Despite the acquisition, Reynolds is set to continue in his role as a creative spokesperson for Mint Mobile, according to a press release issued by T-Mobile. It remains to be seen what this partnership will entail for Reynolds and the future of Mint Mobile, but it's clear that the actor will be enjoying a nice payday as a result of the acquisition.
